Explore our Projects

EAC’s focus is on replicating and scaling-up successful quality programs, promoting innovative approaches and encouraging collaboration, to ensure the best outcomes for children and their communities.

How we do it

The needs are great, but EAC recognizes that to make a difference it has to focus its resources and efforts. To accomplish its goals, EAC works through a set of ten operating principles.

Why it’s important

Educate a Child is based on the premise that quality primary education is not only a fundamental human right, but also an essential driver of human development. It provides the foundation for adulthood, teaching the basics of language, culture, mathematics, writing and learning how to read. Children who value education become adults who make significant contributions to the social-economic order.

Where we work

EAC is working with partners around the world to get young people into education. In 2012, EAC started with 16 countries. By 2014-15, our aim is to operate in 36 different countries.
