Mathilde Jacquin

Education Officer

Ms Mathilde Jacquin joined Educate A Child’s (EAC) Technical Team in June 2016 as an Education Officer, supporting partnership development, the monitoring of partner projects and portfolio management. She worked for three years in Morocco in management consulting and from 2013 to 2014 she worked with major government entities in Qatar on transformational projects that centred on higher education, research and social development. Furthermore, Ms Jacquin has served the Qatar Foundation as a Senior Projects Specialist where she led organisational strategy initiatives across the Foundation.

In 2015, she obtained a Master’s Degree in Social Development from La Sorbonne Paris 1, Institut d'étude du développement économique et social (IEDES), where she focused on Education and Development. While there, she wrote a dissertation on girls’ education in developing countries and its impact on political and community-level engagement.

In addition, she graduated with a degree in Management Science in 2008 from EM Lyon Business School in France, where she joined the school’s humanitarian association and over the course of her academic tenure played an active role in various youth development and education projects that saw the construction of schools and extra-curricular activities in Benin, as well as the provision of remedial classes for underprivileged children in France and material support for orphanages in Bulgaria. 

Ms Jacquin originally hails from Lyon, France, is married and speaks French, Spanish and English.
